Which is it? Cut deep stay Sharp or Always the boss?

Okay, so this needed to be explained…

I started the store by creating flash tattoo-inspired T-shirts for amazingly strong women. I felt there wasn’t a brand out there predominantly aimed at women, so “Cut Deep, Stay Sharp” was born…

Then, while drawing with my son, he created what we now call “Teddy.” I turned Teddy into a cartoon-inspired character and left the design sitting on my hard drive.

One day, I found myself reminiscing about friends I had lost and thinking about how you really are the boss of your own destiny. Around the same time, my daughter kept telling me that she was the boss. As any dad would, I playfully replied, “River, I am always the boss!”

Boom — the collection had its name and its character.

The next thing you know, we had two collections within our design house — and the rest, as they say, is history…
