The Story Behind Teddy

Every great story starts somewhere.

For Teddy, it started with a simple drawing.

One day, while spending time together, my son Rio and I were drawing on a piece of paper. There was no grand plan, no business meeting, and no intention of creating a brand character. It was simply a moment between a father and his son.

As we sat drawing, Rio sketched a little teddy-like character with a big smile and even bigger personality. Looking at it, I couldn't stop thinking about how much character and charm he had managed to create with a few simple lines.

At the time, I had already launched Cut Deep Stay Sharp, a brand built around creativity, individuality, and self-expression. But something about Rio's drawing felt different.

I wanted to bring it to life.

What started as a child's sketch soon became Teddy – the face of Always The Boss.

Teddy represents something bigger than clothing. He represents imagination, creativity, family, and the belief that great ideas can come from anywhere. He reminds us that sometimes the most meaningful things in life begin with the simplest moments.

Today, the original drawing has been transformed into the character you see on this garment, but at its heart, it remains exactly the same: a little drawing created by a young boy and brought to life by his proud dad.

This design is more than a T-shirt.

And it's a reminder that big dreams often start with a simple sketch.
